BUNZL Golf Event Benefits WRS
BUNZL, an international distribution and services corporation, has been a consistent
and dedicated supporter of the Walter Reed Society through its fund-raising golf
tournaments. In August 2024 BUNZL of York, PA continued this tradition of support for
the WRS with a golf tournament at the Country Club of York. Long-time WRS Liaison
for Sports and Recreation Carlton Kammerer attended the event and accepted a check
for $7,500 from Bob Plata, Senior VP of BUNZL, York. Bob is pictured above right with
a group of wounded warriors who participated in the event. Carlton is third from left in
what he calls “his funny pants.”
